After we left Esperance we checked out the popular camping spot Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grande National Park for a potential place to stay for Easter. We thought it would be okay arriving on Wednesday but unfortunately it was full and had been since Monday. We drove down along the beach to check it out anyway. It’s a beautiful typical Esperance beach, fine powdery hard-packed sand, calm and sheltered. Lovely spot. The camping area is extremely popular and have been told it’s full most of the time in summer. It has good facilities, camp kitchen, toilets, etc. We left Cape Le Grande to try to find ourselves a place to camp.
