Sharni has taken a job up to the end of the year in Katherine, Northern Territory. So this is our home until then. We are in a two bedroom unit right near the school that Sharni works at. Joe is getting experience to become a professional barramundi fisherman. To qualify he needs to catch at least one barramundi. He is also busy running the household – making Sharni’s lunch, going shopping, cooking dinner, going out for walks around town, cafe lattes, reading magazines, keeping up with the latest fashions and using the thermomix.
Now that we have a base it makes it even easier for you to come visit. We run a shuttle service to Darwin that runs every day someone we know flies to Darwin, which is 300km away. Katherine is a reasonably sized town of around 10,000 people and is a good base for exploring nearby national parks, gorges, waterfalls and barrumundi fishing regions.
