We are not quite sure if it is over kill having three heavy solar panels on top of the car yet but at least we can power the Thermomix in the middle of the bush. Apparently most people only travel with one panel, Joe being an electrical engineer got a tad excited with his solar power design. The solar panels are each rated at 130W giving a total of 390W. Joe built a rack that allows the solar panels to fold on top of eachother on the roof of our four wheel drive.

We are planning to travel around australia and would love to hear a more technical list of your setup we have a 240 watt foldable panel and a 600 watt inverter but measure the thermomix using 1200 watt when cooking?
