Sharni and I walked to the shops and a couple of pubs yesterday. Any visitors to Katherine part of the experience is waiting in line at the Woolworths for half an hour. It’s part of the culture here. I’ve heard that it’s the busiest Woolworths in Australia. We ended up at the Katherine RSL club where we had some lunch, a couple of drinks, read the newspaper and watched the replay of the Olympic opening ceremony. I’ve always wanted a reading the paper sort of a life style. Not much stress in it. For lunch I had a steak sandwich, check out the review. It was the biggest so far on tour. Today I’m fasting.
