Champagne Pools is one of our favourite spots on Fraser Island. They’re just some rock pools on a rocky head between a couple of beaches. The pools are fed by waves crashing over the top of them, making for an exciting yet relaxing swim. Once the crashing waves settle you’re left with the fizzing foam – hence champagne. Then the foam dissipates and you have a calm pool until the next wave comes. Sharni especially enjoyed relaxing in the pools.
