We stopped at the Window on the Wetlands visitor center on our way to our first barra fishing camp. The Window on the Wetlands is situated on a hill in the middle of the Adelaide river flood plains just off the Arnhem Highway. Entry is free and we were impressed with the excellent quality of the displays and information given the lack of entry free. There’s also a cafe on the top level where we stocked up on some much needed calories with a meat pie. A worth while stopover on your way to Kakadu.
