Gregory National Park is near the WA border, and we needed a caravan park to wash off after the dusty conditions on the Bullita Stock Route. Pining for a taste of our home soil, we decided to head to Kununurra. Didn’t do much there apart from walk around town, check out some art galleries, go to the pub and go out for dinner. Art is expensive. It must be good though for that price.
There’s heaps of gorges, water holes, 4WD tracks, fishing spots and other places of interest around Kununurra. We will return to do it properly one day. Could spend a couple of weeks there I reckon. We had to rush back to Katherine because school started that Monday. That concludes this camping trip in the area West of Katherine. Time for Sharni to go back to work and Joe to continue his role as house husband.
