Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

Continuing our journey through the United States canyon lands we were off to Bryce Canyon National Park. On the drive through the mountains the outside temp dropped to an incredible -25 degrees Celsius. When we arrived in the park itself the roads were iced over and the temperature was around -17. It was quite an adventure to be hiking in those conditions. We wanted to complete a couple of hikes but could only manage one as many of the trails were snowed over and it was way too cold. We were planning to camp in the park but the forecast was colder than what we experienced the previous night in Zion so instead we made it a day trip.

Bryce Canyon is full of tall jagged bright orange spires covered in pure white snow, quite the sight. It was brutally cold but we still enjoyed the picturesque scenery.
