What do you do when it is one of the coldest days of the year? Learn how to ski! All of Utah was in the midst of a unseasonal cold snap and the snow was fluffy dry and perfect for first time skiers. It was around -16 degres Celsius and we could feel the inside of our noses freezing as we breathed. Usually at this time of the year it should be around zero degrees not -16 but the training was brilliant and our two instructors very helpful. We really enjoyed our day of skiing. By the end of the day we managed to move on from the beginner slope to tackle a long green slope. Riding the open chair lifts up the mountain in the breeze was ridiculously cold. Our faces got so cold we couldn’t talk properly slurring our words as we lost coordination of our mouths.
